Alliance University Bangalore Eligibility Criteria

Alliance University’s Courses eligibility criteria vary for each program. Candidates must meet specific academic requirements and clear designated entrance exams. Additional assessments such as aptitude tests and interviews may be conducted.

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Business , Law , Arts & Design Programs like BBA , BCOM , BA Honours :

  • 10+2 from recognized Board / Council with minimum 50% marks.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST.

ElIgibility Criteria for Undergraduate Engineering & Computer Programs like B.Tech , BCA :

For Regular Entry

  • 10+2 from recognized Board / Council with Minimum 50% marks in Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject.
  • Score in JEE (Main); JEE (Advanced); Karnataka CET; COMED-K; AUEET (Alliance University Engineering Entrance Test); or any other State-Level engineering entrance examination.

For Lateral Entry

  • Passed Diploma examination with at least 50% marks in relevant branch of Engineering and Technology.
  • Passed B. Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks & passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST.

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Sciences Programs like B.Sc Maths , Phy , Chemistry :

  • 10+2 from recognized Board / Council with minimum 50% aggregate marks with Physics or Mathematics or Chemistry as a compulsory subject.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA / PGDM Programs in Alliance University Bangalore :

For MBA :

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST.
  • For MBA, Alliance School of Business will accept any one of the national-level management aptitude tests or Alliance Management Aptitude Test (AMAT).

For PGDM :

  • Pass in Full time bachelor’s degree / 3Yrs Diploma.
  • Work Experience
  • For Degree Holders (10+2+3) (10+2+4): Minimum 2 years of full-time work experience.
  • For Diploma Holders (10+2+3): Minimum 5 years of full-time work experience.

Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Engineering Programs like M.TECH & MCA :

  • B.E. / B.Tech. with minimum 50% marks or equivalent in CGPA in Computer Science/Information Technology or MCA.
  • Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree or passed B.Sc./ B. Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at l0+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University).
  • Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST.

Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Law Programs like LLM :

  • LL. B. / B. L. or any other graduate degree in Law recognized by Bar Council of India with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST.

Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Arts Programs like MA Eng & MA Eco :

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate. ( English Compulsory )
  • A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST.
